Gampala Congregations – In The Slums of Andrha Pradesh

Serving Widows and persecuted brethren in the rural villages of Southeast India

Fellowship In Faith Ministries serves the Gampala Family Ministry in the slum villages of Lanka, Rajupalem, and Rajaro Peta in the Southeast state of Andrha Pradesh.

This is done through monthly support for the widows, support for the ministry and facilitating building projects such as the House of God and a future Ashram for the 30 widows in need of a place to live.  We also sponsor missions to serve these poor congregations and brethren.

The Gampala family is the first ministry Our Father has involved us to serve in India and over the years, our bond of love and fellowship continues to grow.  The Gampala family and their Shalom Congregations are focused on the primary task of preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to a Hindu people almost wholly ignorant of the Name of Jesus Christ.   Because they are the lowest castes, misery and poverty is beyond an American mindset to grasp.  The sad reality is that most Hindus are enslaved mind, body and soul to the dictates of the caste system in the hope their penance for sins in their past life by enduring suffering might enable them to be reincarnated into something better in the next life.

Few in A.P. India have ever heard the Good News that all of their sins are covered in the precious blood of Jesus Christ in the Gospel Message of Salvation of Redemption and Reconciliation with a guaranteed promise of a better resurrection rather than the vain hope in reincarnation.  The Gampala ministry reaches out to proclaim the Good News to a people lost to 3,000 years of abject paganism and superstition.  Their efforts are sowing seed in ground that is being watered with the Word of God, and a crop is coming up as The Lord provides the increase and their congregations expand rapidly with hunger for the truth.
